Here we are, it's Halloween, and I haven't caught covid through my job visits this month so woop woop survival is ongoing. It's been a very quiet weekend after rather a busy week (twice at the theatre! The Mirror and the Light was excellent and I'm really sad it's closing early; Blithe Spirit was fun - I've learned I love Noel Coward, frivol though he is - and Jennifer Saunders as Madame Arkaty the batty medium was brilliant; not at all AbFab, and all the better for it).
27. Have you ever gotten angry at an employee and complained to the manager?
Not really. I've given feedback when requested, and that has occasionally involved mentioning poor service (or random racism, I really miss the Brexit referendum months for the way people would come out with that shit). But "I demand to speak to the manager"? No.
28. Do you add unnecessary letters to the end of words?
Um. No? Thass be one o'they young folk questions, baint it?
29. What was the last thing you used your phone for, besides calling/texting?
Checking the weather tomorrow. I have to put a box out for collection and it's pissed down overnight for the last four days, drying up later on.
30. Do you always check the prices of things when you buy groceries?
No. I'm not hurting for money at the groceries level, and if it's something I need I will just buy. I'd give a quick look if there are different products that I don't rate differently, like butter, and choose accordingly. What I don't often do is special offers or 241s, I shop with a list and I'm mainly buying for me.
31. How many nights per week do you cook dinner at home vs. going out to eat?
Now? 7. Though I do buy a meal kit many weeks, so I don't necessarily cook for all of them. I even eat in before the theatre, which has led to some troublingly early teas.
