Let's finish off the month
I've had a quiet bank holiday weekend, slightly annoyingly as plans clashed and things didn't work out. But never mind, it was a good break. And I have a weird week coming up, attending a conference remotely, but I really want to get into it rather than just treating it as a few online talks so I'm going to try not sitting solemnly at my desk in my usual routine. Not sure it'll work, especially if something kicks off at work, but I intend to try. I also have yet more shows booked, because apparently that's what I do now, covid-wise. Hmm. Not sure it's sensible, but I am hooked again, and god knows theatres need the money. We'll see how it goes.

Uh, thirtyish? I am very picky, and didn't bother with early crushes. *shrug*
26. Were your college years the best years of your life?
No, but they were excellent and transformational. I moved away from home and shed a whole lot of anxiety behaviours and social inhibitions. I crafted a new persona that felt more like me. I'd never been somewhere with a lot of people about as interested as I am in history, and pretty much my kind of clever. I made friends I've kept ever since. I got a profession out of it, and, um four degrees. So yeah. Not bad.
Actually, two professions, come to think of it.
27. What’s the most relaxing thing you did today?
Today, a long walk, and a lovely cup of tea and a bun after I'd done a load of marking. I'm nearly done for the semester.
28. What do you usually drink with breakfast?
A lovely cup of tea. Living my values.
29. How many closets does your house have?
One? You could say it's four, as it has vertical subdivisions and a big top shelf, but it's a whole wall of my bedroom with built in cupboards. It is the best thing in my flat.
30. What year is your car?
I still don't drive.
31. What’s the largest animal you’ve ever had as a pet?
I've still never had a pet.
