Oh lord. I can see from the flist several of you are feeling as down as me this weekend. It's that feeling we've had the best bits of this year (and those were tense, tricky, worried times, but at least sunny), and now it's a grim old slog for ages. I wish I could be positive about it, but I'm just not. Sorry. I've been buying warm things for a cold winter of sitting still, mostly alone. It's productive, but it's definitely not fun.

26 What’s one small thing you’ve accomplished today that wasn’t even on your to-do list?
Yesterday I'm not sure there was anything but that's really because I was scheduled from 9.30am (yoga) to 8pm (end of my cocktail hour on twitter, yes that is a thing and it is a schedule, bringing people together who are otherwise alone on Saturday nights), through market shopping, online art history class, a couple of hours of my online teaching job, and a long call with the boyf. I cooked stuff, I fetched stuff, I put in a couple more orders for things I need. And then I watched two episodes of 2019's heats of the Meilleur Boulangerie de la France, because really sometimes you need silly baking shows and that is my joy. So I think I've done what I needed and I deserved the time off.
27 If you could eliminate one thing from your daily schedule, what would it be?
Well, given that this year has eliminated much of my schedule, this is now quite hard to answer. I would have said the commute, probably, and presto - see how sad I am now without the people it made possible. I don't miss getting up at 6, in the dark, I must say.
What I would like now is someone else to do the washing up. But in the scheme of everything that's going on this year it does seem quite minimal!
28 Is there a book or TV series that you enjoy, but acknowledge that it's not actually very good? What makes you love it enough to keep reading/watching?
