Yep. So that was quite a tedious and depressing Easter. Poor parents, I hope they weren't too cast down by my sniffling. I'm now mostly recovered, though various grim degunging and de-ulcering and other yuk still ongoing ( Read more... )

I love Engrenages! Especially the slight soapiness if the plotting, because I've decided I can't really be bothered with moody telly.

I've only seen season 4, which was fab. It's a little weird going back to when they all first met and are not quite so completely corrupt yet. I missed that it's supposed to be Cops and Lawyers the first episodes I saw, because the publicity was all Berthaud. I do enjoy them all, and some lovely actors. (I adore Roban as well, and Gilou.)

I do recommend Spiral, if you like that kind of thing. A procedural with a soapy undertone, but pretty gritty too.
