I've had one of those intensive working days when you really don't get much time to think or breathe. I seem to be having a lot of those lately. Also still feeling a bit bleurghy for no good reason. A few are very long, like Green Card, but mostly they are under 2000 words. So it's not quite so vast as it may appear. I'm about to hit 500k words on AO3, probably at my next upload.

I did some bibbling posts too, hoping to be detected as a fascinating person (and one or two TMI subsequently which got unscreened when I exported my journal to DW. Which wasn't great). But then I shut up for ages. I had no confidence at all that anyone would be interested in my comments; it wasn't till I started writing and realised every 'Really liked this!' comment genuinely cheered me that I actually got how LJ could work. Baby steps; I helped to beta for rahirah for a bit before that, which was probably the first real confidence boosting.

Yes, and thank goodness. Just think, otherwise I'd have to flounce off, have a one-sided LJ war and then defriend you or something. ;-)
I think I'd already got the commentng thing - I came to LJ from the frustration of a fic archive not really being the best place to have interesting conversations about fic and fannish stuff with nice people. Lj, however, is.
