Reverb: Community
December 7 - Community. Where have you discovered community, online or otherwise, in 2010? What community would you like to join, create or more deeply connect with in 2011?
I've mainly relied on the community I already have, of friends and family and Folkestone (who are both). I haven't really felt the need or will to reach outside of that. Part of that has definitely been my head, so hopefully as I try new things and get better, I'll be more outgoing again.
I didn't hit many events this year because, well, I physically couldn't, and going to Uncle Cecil's was fun, but made me realize that I'm largely irrelevant in Realms. So many of the cool kids who are in all the plots are all newbies to me (which is great), but because I haven't been around I really don't know them, and I'm not a respected oldbie, either (oldbie, yes, respected, probably not), so... I'm pretty much just Sasha. Good for healing and a laugh. Not because I'm never serious, but because I'm never loud, and haven't been around much lately. Bleh.
