Medical Stuff
So, I went to Riverbend on Thursday to deal with my CT scan after drinking the first bottle of that contrast drink. One of the worst experiences ever. That stuff is disgusting. I get to Riverbend and ask them if the one bottle will be good enough and they tell me it won't and I need to drink the second one right then. So yeah, drank another one. Thought I was going to puke, but thankfully I didn't, because they couldn't have done the scan if I did. That would have really pissed me off. So then after waiting for what felt like eternity, I get called in and they tell me I need to drink "a few more sips" of the stuff and she pretty much fills a small dixie cup. Seriously? So I drink that. Get the scan done with and go home feeling like shit from that damn stuff.
I got a call on Friday and apparently the thing causing these stomach pains I've been having is a kidney stone. A 9mm one. The pains are getting worse too so it really sucks. I have an appointment with a urologist tomorrow in Springfield at 3 so I am going to go deal with that and hopefully they will give me something for this pain.
I really hate doctors appointments and I have been going to way too many lately.
