getting wet feet
Sometimes I just have this "i rule the world" mood but other times I just feel sooo lost.
Went to Liverpool yesterday, it's okay there. Liked the dock!
In the evening I fell out with a friend when I made her aware of how incompetent it is not to know how many students returned to the bus on the day trip she was responsible for after having everybody tick their names off a list. Her reply was "I think it's only one, we should leave." I said, "well, his friends are on the phone to him so we might as well wait until the agreed departure time." she goes "would you stop that, it's not funny" - a knock on the bus door: 3 of the students return perfectly on time... what on earth was this list for then?
So yes, if she wants to take out all her anger about other problems she's got on me by cutting me out of her life for THAT, then I can't say anything but hope she has fun herself as it is bloody ridiculous. As we were meant to go to a mutual friend's wedding reception tonight, I offered to leave the present we bought together in her letter box so she can go (it's her colleague as well and I didn't wanna show up ruining the party atmosphere by us bitching about). She let me wait in front of her apartment block for half an hour in the ever so pouring rain before opening the main door so I could get to the letter box. I could have just screamed standing in the puddles in high heels. It's really bad, the roads are flooded.
I finally sent my CV to some agencies in Germany now, looking for a new job in Berlin and Leipzig from next year... Am fed up here, at least too often. Working hard at the moment though, taking the chance of paid over time before christmas...
I have got a brand new baby cousin since thursday!!! 4 weeks early but doing fine and being all cute! Bought him a little Dumbo pillow and will send it on to the proud parents :)
Is anybody else on last.fm and looking for friends and inspiration? Am here http://www.last.fm/user/browniemancini
By the way, this has been on my Amazon wishlist for quite a while, the PRIME SUSPECT COMPLETE COLLECTION and it's a proper bargain at the moment.... Has anyone got it or which one have u got??
