I'm not in the business of saving lives

Well, I watched "The Passion of Ayn Rand" today, got it reduced in HMV and am in a Helen Mirren mood since seeing Prime Suspect again on TV. This, so far must be my favorite Helen Mirren movie. Some of the things Rand and all them preached quite impressed me but I guess it's quite harsh. I'll get one of the books though. But yes, a Russian accent?? :D Great movie!
Am now watching "Stranger Than Fiction" with my house mate. Had another manic week at work found myself in a surprisingly good mood even on Friday. Unfortunately only until I spoke to my favorite colleague who was called into the manager's office after she messed something not AS serious up... Well, they'll talk to her again on Monday but she'll either not show up at all, hand in her notice or be sacked. I am not happy to hear that. She's such good fun. I just hope she'll do well, whatever or wherever it's gonna be.
Went to Cardiff yesterday, liked it but were too tired from the night before to go to the Bay. Though I absolutely loved Cardiff Castle!!! My favourite!!! I might have lived there in another life :)
And Jan, he was being a girl then.... Didn't walk round with us and I actually missed him. Blimey. That was just not supposed to happen. He came over here for 5 months like I did last year, works at the place I did my work experience.
Apart from what he says to me (and what I would like to tell him but don't as it would just go way too far) everybody else either tries to matchmake or keeps telling me how obviously he fancies me. It's just that he's got plans and I don't quite have the courage and energy to along with those plans. Although secretly it might be cool... Anyways, we're trying to be friends but the border is pretty frail and we just get on too well. I shouldn't!
