Easter Sunday

Happy Easter to everyone who cares. It's Spring time, new flowers, sunshine, warm breezes, All That Jazz.

Friday Kat and I went to the Braves home opener. It was possibly the most interesting game we've been to in a while. We couldn't get seats and decided to wander the field watching from whatever vantage points we wouldn't get kicked out of. Derek Lowe pitched beautifully (sadly) and fanned six over three innings. It began raining in the third and between the third and fourth, they called a delay. Two hours and two minutes of rain and hail during which I learned that power at home and Dax's power got knocked out. We bought dinner and wandered the park listening to the Rain Delay show. When the rain finally stopped and they resumed play, it was 10:40. We stayed through the fifth, which counts as official and left only because Kat had a 9:30 am rehearsal. But it was awesome good fun.

Yesterday I wore lots of hats; Computer technician, laundress, dish washer, cook... I had lots of stuff to do and I got most of it done!

I woke up this morning and made a big Easter Breakfast for my family. Bacon, eggs, biscuits, and pancakes. Good stuff. Now I'm watching the Mets@ The Marlins. Go JOHAN! Granted, he's just walked a guy, Danny Murphy just dropped a ball, two Marlins runs are in, so I'm wigging early.

So Dax called last night and over the course of the course of the conversation he mentioned that his downstairs neighbour's cat was pregnant. Well she had kittens this morning! Three little black kittens. When I go see him in a few weeks I'm gonna go play with the babies.

So everyone have a happy and relaxing Sunday!
