I went to check on the girls day before yesterday and I found my oldest hen had been killed and partially eaten :/
She was the last of the old hens and had gotten old, so I guess that is why she was picked out. I hadnt been locking them up for about a month as it has been so quiet around here, and nothing had bothered them at all.
So starting 2 nights ago I started locking them up at dusk and letting em go at dawn. Now my sleep schedule is all messed up and im so tired :P
Not much going on here as of late as it has been to drizzly and cloudy.
Im just trying to stay as warm as possible now.
Seems like winter is coming fast this year
