The Hobbit: Well that was 1/3 of a movie
Thorin was very handsome. I was satisfied by his level of handsomeness.
Things I can't believe the internet did not warn me about:
- Thror's awesome beard-swag. I can't decide if these the dwarf equivalent of getting a gold tooth, but I think it might be.
-- Also awesome: if you browse tumblr's "thror" tagging looking for beard pics, you'll get about one Chris Hemsworth for every nine dwarven kings.
- Ori's great knit-wear. If Peter Jackson loves me (he doesn't) there will be a scene in one of the next two movies where Ori knits in his down time.
Also, I think Galadriel was on a turntable for about half her scenes so that they could get her to do that seamless turn without moving her knees.

I haven't gone looking yet, but I predict the following already exists:
Bilbo/Bofur
Bilbo/Kili
The one where Kili and Fili double-team Bilbo.
The one where Gandalf takes up Kili and Fili on their kind offer.
Thorin/Dwalin
What will eventually exist: A shitload of RPF.
- The reliance on "Bombur is fat and constantly eating!"
- The props sometimes looked oddly fake. Maybe because of the HD film?
- Oh my god, nine hours of this? Why god why.
- Radagast
