yeah, I pretty much lost track of all the people I forced to watch it and tell me it was pretty over the last ten months. GODDAMN that thing took forever. but thank you for the rec! :DDDDDDD

Haha, no, I know I was not of any help outside of some emotional support, and looking at it now, I mean, I remember it used to have blank patches but I can't point to anything that's changed. But I think it really turned out really well!

I saw that picture for the first time a few days ago, and I really wonder why it's not more famous and iconic, because it's stunning. I also want to know the story behind it; women firefighters aren't that common even today, so I find it fascinating that they apparently had an all-woman crew. America wasn't in the war yet, so the Rosie the Riveter effect wasn't in play yet.

It's the expressions that make it; all three of the women you see are fierce in their own way.
