Comment-spam
I've set my lj to friends only commenting, not because I don't like comments from everyone, I *do*, but because the comment spam has gotten out of control. I had to delete more than twenty pieces of comment spam before I found a legitimate comment. I really hope this is just temporary. Sorry :(
ETA: I've just realized that I can make people not on my flist fill out a CAPTCHA, which still sucks, but maybe not as much? So I've set it to that, and I hope it works.
