Just got back from the #6 reason why Norfolk rocks Doumar's. You think Sonic is cool? Ha! We have a real drive-in circa 1934! Local lore says that Abe Doumar invented the ice cream cone at the 1906 World's Fair. He also invented the ice cream cone machine and that ORIGINAL machine is still in use daily at Doumar's. If you're ever in Norfolk, you have to drive-in.
