ohhh Sheffield . . wot a big place you are !!
4.30pm Friday 10th March / Saturday 11th March '06 . . approx 5pm ish.

Mums in Sheffield with Andrew . . and having a wonderful time.
Arrived on Friday teatime, and as it was pisstenly pouring down we got a taxi from the station . . which took forever to get to Broomhill as everyone had the same idea. It seems it gets very busy from 4pm here in Sheffield with everyone starting to leave work. The traffic was bumper to bumper on every road, and some drivers even tried to dodge the traffic lights which made for much horn blaring and fist waving.
When Suddy arrived home from work at 5pm, I then had some lasagne for my tea which is something I had never tasted before, and was homemade by Andrew . . suffice to say it was DE-licous . . my boy is a great cook, takes after his dad!!
Suddy also gave me a fruit "smoothie", something else new to me . . it too was brilliant.
On Saturday morning I was awake at 5.30am and as the rest of the house except James (who had been out at a Casino and arrived home at 5.30am) was still asleep, I laid and played my small mp3 player listening to Lee Evans till a more sociable hour . . 7am . . when I went and got washed, and went down stairs and put the tv on for the news.
Andrew and Suddy eventually got up at 8am and we all made plans to go shopping at Meadowhall and in the "Town Centre". As it turns out probably not the best of ideas as I spent money which I should prob have saved!! Ohhh well never mind long time dead . .eh?
To say the least . . I got:-)
2 cardies from Evans shop sale . .
1 Saturday The Sun morning paper for Kim, (Wid the miffy - "Free the Sun Hill One")
2 local Sheffield papers . . to bring home and show Kim and Gdad.
A Photoshop CS 2 Focus Guide . . from WH Smiths . . whoooo what a BIG shop !!
A Playstation 2 Game . . Card Games in the Games shop sale
A Computer keyboard . .
Ohh . .and a black ipod . . called "Bert"!! (with accessories . . mains plug and case)
Episode two of my time here in Sheffield . . to follow tomorrow . . providing of course I don't have any problems seeing straight, as we are going out to dinner . . Lebanese restaurant!! . . one of Andrews friends called Ian 40th birthday, and then maybe on to "Corporation" .. which I understand is a night club!!
