1) Kate was in prodromal (i.e., long protracted headache) labor from Thursday until today.

2) Her water broke at 4:15 PM as she was in the chiropractor's office, just as I arrived to meet her.

3) As of our 5PM midwife check-in, she was 1cm dilated.
