08:20 this time get up and get laptop from the kitchen table, but internet isn't working. decide to snooze again and see if internet works again in 10 minutes
09:45 finally wake up, internet works
10:13 out of bed, into shower
10:25 finally bike to work
10:35 stop at bakery, buy sandwich and chocolate croissant
10:43 arrive at work, fuck around on internet
11:16 walk out to the field with liquid nitrogen, scalpel some tiny seedlings, throw them into tubes and freeze them
11:42 fuck around on internet some more, worry about everything I need to do that I'm avoiding doing
12:02 eat sandwich, read book
12:41 go out to field with new colleague, play with mud, measure tiny leaves to the nearest 0.1 mm, write on water-proof paper with pencil
15:12 run to coffee machine, drink bad coffee and eat croissant
15:18 back out to field with liquid nitrogen, kill and freeze more helpless seedlings

19:56 walk home, buy local Kölsch beer on way
20:10 make roasted squash, carrots, and potatoes, fuck around on internet, eat delicious roasted vegetables with Kölsch
22:45 in bed with book, sleep
