"Hello, we are Kings of Leon"

Last night, oh boy, it was probably the second best night of my life. The first being My Chemical Romance. Dana and I spent all day in town, just hanging out as I havent seen her in ages! Damn boarding school. So around 4 Olive and Georgia came then we went to meet Briar at her Mom's work. We hung out for a bit then lined up at about 5 45 lined up. Bex showed up like 5 minues before we were let in. We had seating because it was R16 on the floor, which sucked ass cause im only 4 months off it, but hey, there will be other times.

The opening act was pretty wicked but i cant remeber there name for the life of me. They played a few songs, the best ones were probably mutate or die, human rules and on my mind. They were pretty sweeeet. When KOL came on we decided to go up the back on the railing as Bex, Olive and Me were together and the other three were together and we wanted to all be together.

As we predicted Closer was the first song played, i was blown away. Calebs voice is a heaven sent! Matthew was smoking on stage and Jared was amazing on bass, but Nathan, oh my love he was incredible on drums. His hair and energy was incredible. They then played Crawl and My Party. This was their set. (not in order) king of the rodeo, Taper Jean Girl, Four Kicks, Pistol Of Fire, Milk,  the Bucket, Soft, On Call, Fans, Closer, Crawl, Sex on Fire, Revelry, Red Morning Light and California Waiting. The last song they played was Use Somebody, I was so upset that it past so fast. They left that stage but the crowd was screaming encore. I was disappointed that they didn't play charmer as I would have loved to see Caleb do the screaming live.  But then they came back out and played Knocked Up and Charmer. Me and Dana were so happy as Knocked up is her favourite song and we got to hear Caleb scream in Charmer.

It was incredible. Oh and when we went outside there was this like street techno dance thing going on, so Olive, Dana and I joined in! It was pretty sweeeeet :D

concert, kings of leon, techno, mtv
