(no subject)
sooo it's been a while.
i'll do my life backwards because it's easier to go from recent to past when i'm recapping.
today we rocked at the contest today, and i took an amazing well-deserved nap.
yesterday was just normal, i saw sarah's prom dress (gorgeous) and it's good because she and i have been talking a lot again. we're going to have a mommy-daughter weekend at some point when we can figure it out.
thursday i performed my concerto, which i feel like is one of the greatest accomplishments i've had. what a rush, talk about a NATURAL high. i'm so happy that i did it, despite the fact that i was so so so so nervous. and i didn't completely mess up. i mean, obviously people make some mistakes, but it was generally i good performance i think. perhaps one of the best times i've played that. yay! and some people even actually came, which was so nice of them! sarah and her family came, debbie hamilton, my mom's friends rita and susie, my mom's cousin adrienne. my aunt and uncle and cousin (who came straight from work downtown). my bubby and zady, kevin, corinne, casey, michael solotke and tom (from wales!). i didn't think anyone would actually come, and it was really nice to see some people there.
ummm, this whole week has been me stressing out about that coming up.
last weekend i went shopping wiht corinne, and people came over, i've been hanging out with corinne a lot. i saw some welsh people to this past week which just makes me so happy haha. the gso banquet was on tuesday, and on monday night, jeff, erica, jenny, ben and i were planning for it until about midnight, but we ended up giving them hilarious joke gifts and on behalf of each high school, picture frames signed by the senior classes. it was really nice.
last week was our first week back at school which kind of sucked, but we're also 4TH QUARTER SENIORS!! AS;LKDHGA;OSTGHYA;SDOIGJ
over spring break, i had my marching illini audition, and it sucked, but i hope i make it.
i saw a lot of people which made me really happy.
alex and i were student models for vip studios and got payed! (50 dollars for 6 hours, but still it was nice :) )
i got my prom dress over spring break!
i went shopping wiht corinne, sam kane and caitlin baumhart and got stuff, fun fun.
yeah, that's some stuff that i've been doing. for the next few weeks it's all musical stuff, but i love pit so i'm excited! my grade were pretty good last quarter so this quarter should be pretty easy :) i turned down scholarships from isu and penn state, but am going to u of i (with no scholarships :\) though i applied for local scholarships and stuff.
i met someone who's going to illinois for music ed today, so that was quite exciting! i just like finding people like that randomly haha. and tomorrow i'm meeting my roommate! yayyy
so that's my life right now. cool.
