Just met mooting partner. He seems on the ball. Of course our moot is next week and the first assignment in the BVC -- drafting an opinion for Civil Procedure -- is due on Monday. I acted as a marshall at the Lord Chief Justice's speech at the London Muslim Centre on Thursday night.

Actually, the bit on shariah law was maybe five to ten minutes out of an hour long speech entitled "Equality in Justice." But obviously it's what the media's interested in.
