Things in my life:

Not much other than studying. I have MCTs (multiple choice tests) in civil and criminal litigation next week, so I've had my head stuck in books the past two. Topics: civil procedure and evidence; criminal procedure and evidence. The stuff is so boring that (as my IRL friends have grown tired of hearing) it makes me want to gouge my eyes out with a fork. However, I am fairly close to as confident as I'd like to be about writing exams on it.

Easter -- no eggs for once, it was basically church when I was needed for singing and otherwise studying.

Got my bike tuned up recently with money Mum sent for an Easter gift -- I was embarrassed at the state of it, it needed a new chain and new cables for the gears and brakes. As I'm staying so close to home at the moment I haven't taken it out for a test run yet, but I'll look at commuting into college for the next two months once this round of exams finishes. Next mundane errand: glasses. My vision has definitely deteriorated the last couple of years.

I'm also doing a 10k run training schedule -- currently very much at the mostly-walking stage. I've given myself until my call to the Bar at the end of July to slim down a bit, which I think is a nice, healthy, long period of time in which to do it at an appropriate pace.

Online:

I watched that video of Susan Boyle and showed it to Susannah, who showed it to her dad (...). I've also been watching with horror the unfolding story of the death of Ian Tomlinson.

I have been reading everyone's journals though I haven't been posting -- some of you may know that as I've commented a bit too!

Bought an iPod shuffle from eBay for just under £20 which made me happy.

Playoff hockey has started in North America too, so I'm following my team online in that -- and through Facebook updates as most of my Vancouver friends are fans! So far they're up two games in the current series. I wish there was a way I could watch games online....

We're having beautiful spring weather in London. I'm hopeful that it'll last till I can get out to enjoy it.
