I hope this as well, having a humanised Twilight Sparkle, might not be a terrible thing.

Twilight is after a smart, intelligent girl that with her friends thinks her ways out of most of her problems.

She has a mentor, and other people she could ask for help, but often she does not, she finds a way herself to overcome the problem.

This is pretty unique.

If Hasbro can transition this from pony to person, it might (maybe, hopefully) cause some pretty big waves.

I like a humanized Twi too. I don't care what they do with Equestria Girls as long as it doesn't interfere with Friendship is Magic.

I like the Monster High dolls design, though they really do look like Bratz. The first time I saw them I was like "Bratz are still around?"

I'll agree with kittymink:

I don't mind a spin-off involving humanized ponies; I'd just prefer for it to not be canon as far as MLP:FiM is concerned. In other words, whatever happens in the movie should stay in the movie and be treated no different from, say, speculative fanfic ( ... )

Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I liked watching a bit of monster high, but only because it was eye candy. They should have made some of the monsters a little less supermodelish and maybe more..uhm...monsterish. IE: I can see Cleo DeNile being an attractive character, being a play on Cleopatra and a mummy, and maybe the vampire, but definitely not the Frankenstein monster and she-yeti. :-P -And yeah, high school dramas are stupid.

I'll eventually see Equestria Girls when it comes out for rental. Definitely not paying to see it in the theaters.
