Treating Women as People

Sometimes it's malice, sometimes it's ignorance, sometimes it's poverty.  After all, if you & your family are starving, & someone offers to pay you for the 'use' of your daughter . . .  Sometimes it's a good source of income.  Like I said - an effect of poverty - which doesn't excuse it at all.   More here.
