March came in like a warm and fuzzy lamb this year - the first two weeks were sunny, and most welcome after the storms of winter. The latter two weeks were a bit damp, chilly for a few days, sunny and generally like a British Spring! One result is that the Hippeastrum (Amaryllis) which lives on the kitchen windowsill is blooming again. Two gorgeous flowers and a bud promising another. This is a repeat flowering, it bloomed last year, in May. Last March came and left like a Polar Bear, April wasn't much warmer. Which leads me to wonder, after the 'warm' winter - how many pests will have survived to thrive this year? And how many will have drowned? We'll see, I s'pose.
Y'all have a good day now!
