Keeping Warm

H got a letter today, from our gas supplier.  "You won't want to hear this," it warbles, "but we are putting your bill up."  Fortunately it's only by 8.something %.  Other power suppliers have been increasing their prices by 9.something%.  And all with a rate of inflation of around 3%.  No, they haven't pegged their prices for the past even one

In France they use fuel powered stove, and die of intoxication due to carbon monoxide

A while back there was a spate of deaths due to inadequately ventilated gas boilers - carbon monoxide poisoning. Usually in rented accommodation!
