Your first two paragraphs? Story of my LJ life. So I completely understand, I've been doing it myself frequently.

Good luck for uni choosing! I'm in my last year myself, so I know how hard it is--well in my case, it's more what kind of course/direction I want to take that has me undecided.

Wow, Reading Festival. I've (obviously) heard about it, and it always sounds amazing. (:

Tell me about it!

When do you have to make a final decision on Universities? I have got a few months before I have to narrow it down to 5 choices (I'm aiming for October), then a while after that until I choose a final two.

Reading is my hometown, so I go most years, I love it! I think this year will be one of the best for a while though!

We finish school in November, and the system is that you have to choose 6 courses and its respective uni, (so you could do the same course, different uni, and vice versa) and then after getting your OP (which ranks you against other students, very ~complicated) in December, they'll give an offer or something. We have to get our choices in by August, so I'm somewhat worried. I've been kind of avoiding thinking about it, but I have a vague idea.

What sort of course are you thinking of, if you don't mind telling?

Possibly something in the Health Sciences area. I don't think I can get a high enough OP for Medicine, but maybe Biomed science? I still have to do lots of research on the courses. If I'm still as undecided I might just do some really broad subjects the first year so I can make up my mind.
What about you? I'm not really sure how the system works over there. =\

Oooh cool, I have a friend who wants to do Biomed. Can you have a broad range of subjects, like in the US, and pick a major after a year or two ( ... )
