More Ashes to Ashes rambling (but some other stuff too)
So, big day tomorrow. Final day of school.

I've made our leavers assembly videos, with Busted- What I go to school for, and Europe- Final Countdown as the soundtrack. Which I think are a far better choice of tracks than those being used by the rest of my yeargroup (Take That, Celine Dion, Bon Jovi... you know the drill). It took a lot of persuasion from a friend for me not to use anything by the Spandau Ballet, but I'm glad she did, because if she let me, I wouldn't have thought of the Final Countdown.
(railise , I was totally going to take you up on the offer to check the videos, but because of illnesses/operations and stuff, I hadn't actually gotten around to doing them until today. Offer very very much appreciated though.)
In other news; went into town with C today. I actually have money at the moment, so I went a bit crazy in Hmv and bought the entire Linkin Park back catalogue because all of their albums were on sale (including the one I already have, but only in mp3 format), as well as Ashes to Ashes series 1 (down from £40 to £15, how could I resist??) and the REMASTERED TRUE ALBUM BY SPANDAU BALLET. And a few other albums.
I'm going through a bit of a New Romantic phase at the moment, so the S.B album was a biggy. They only had one copy left in the shop, and I almost didn't find it. And in regard to Ashes to Ashes, I'm sure I've said before I didn't liiiiiike season one, however, I haven't seen it in 2 years, and I want to try and recapture the magic like the first time I went back and watched DW series one, eighteen months after that first aired. That was a great time.
(My Anaesthetic problems have virtually gone now! I'm pretty much bouncing off the walls. But that's partly induced by the "euphoria" of my latest buys. I also got two England t-shirts and a jumper, which are much more flattering, and altogether half as expensive as an official England football shirt.)
I have had the self-restraint however, not to watch any of the dvds from my new Ashes to Ashes boxset yet. Even though the have Commentaries, and special features with Keeley Hawes, who is totally on my list. But no, I must hold back, because I revise to the soft hum of DVDs, so these are like gold to me at the moment. I will try and watch them before Friday though, incase Gene Hunt fucks up everthing in the last episode, and makes me not want to look at him ever ever ever again. Or dies. I'm not sure I could watch the show ever again if he dies. Maybe I should boycott Friday's episode altogether, just in case...
