Doctor Who
Okay, this was a really good episode, it was really clever, and quite witty, but I just didn't get into it. Mainly because I spent the whole 45 minutes it was on, with the image of Gene and Alex dancing in my head. This isn't healthy. I've rewatched last nights episode 3 times today, and each time I just get angrier. (but hearing Gene ask Alex whether her bra undoes at the front or back just gets funnier every time).
So yes, Doctor Who.... will probably be good when the whole Gene/Alex thing has stopped bugging me so much later on in this week. I haven't been this ship obsessed since the good old days of S1 Robin/Marian and S2 Doctor/Rose. And to think that most of the time I don't even like the fact I ship Gene/Alex. However, on a DW related note, I was very happy when Amy realised she loved Rory. It was a very sweet and happy moment...
(I had never previously realised how much I love it when Gene calls Alex Bolly/Bolls. I'm going to miss it.)
ETA: I saw the advert for next week's episode of A2A earlier, which made me even more excited because it looks so much better than the preview at the end of episode 7.
And in RL, I went to the funfair with my close guy-friend and another friend today. Because of the whole operation/anaesthetic shit thats been going on, I felt ridiculously queezy after our 3rd ride on the aptly named "Shaky Planet". Oh, and guy-friend accidently saw my prom dress, which isn't meant to happen, but I've never been big on tradition and stuff anyway.
