UPS is my hero.
I got my quilt in the mail today! Hooray for me!! My grandma made me this quilt because a) I needed one and b) I liked this fabric I saw in a design magazine. So, since my grandma is awesomely awesome, she mimicked the design and made a quilt for me! It's pretty much the coolest quilt ever..heh. It's raspberry and espresso brown diamonds inside diamonds inside diamonds...if that makes any sense whatsoever.
Anywhoo..my school day was uneventful as usual. We never do anything in class. If it wasn't such a small school and people didn't realise you were absent, I could skip months on end and not miss a thing. I think I'm losing brain cells because there's no motivation to actually do the schoolwork, so therefore it's so easy that I don't even try anymore. *sigh* Ah well...
Onto a happier note...it's Deepa's birthday tomorrow! I'm getting her a balloon. Balloons are fun...unless of course you let go of the string and it floats up into the oblivion, never to be seen again.
My mom had eye surgery to correct her vision for the second time, because the first time her eyes didn't heal correctly..she had her cornea sanded off and it has to grow back..can you imagine how painful that would be? Ngyeah...so..I have to play the mommy of the house since my dad is terrible at being a parent.
Meh. I have to go check on the casserole.
