Dreams

Dreams are fragile, often unseen
Dreams can be cruel, dreams can be mean
You might remember, you might even regret
It might be a nightmare you would rather forget

But dreams are your own, your imagination the key
A whole new world where you can be free
Use them to plan and plant the first seed
For the path of your life, you take the lead

Cause dreams, my friend, are the source of life
A never ending force and a will to survive
Dream a little bigger and you will see
That this force to build, lies in you and me

Start it now and cherish your chance
But beware: the force to destroy lies in other hands
They will try to take or they will try to control
They will try to ravish you and suppress your soul

But you are no puppet, you are not their slave
Stay your grounds and fight for what you crave
Cause your dreams are your army, your imagination the fire
Stand up to the world and protect your desire

Believe in my words and have the strength to dream on
Because your dreams will remain, even after you’re gone.
