So this time I stole a bar mat. Who does that?
After returning from a long week in Sherman in which very little was done, I had a rather productive weekend. Went to the ER, and got to hang out with Fletch before leaving at 4:30, like I had planned. Cleaned, watched TV, got coffee, bought liquor, had a beer and caught a show at Meridian, then decided to start playing Okami before meeting people out for the evening. Before I got to the actual game, I was ambushed by Marie, her new roommate Nick, and a copy of the Led Zeppelin Symbols album. Listened to that before heading out, which was pretty awesome.
Ended up sitting between Darla and Liz, who quickly started disliking each other. Got stuck in a glass box for making bad jokes, other general randomness. Saturday started off well, watched the Guild, bought books and records, and napped vaguely before meeting Andy and Justine to see Men Who Stare At Goats. I thought it was hilarious. When was the last time you heard a good Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner joke? Then there was dinner at Gloria's, drinks at the house, and a late night run to Idle Rich so Mandi could give us cheap drinks and Andy and I could make fools of ourselves.
Tried to just relax yesterday, but ended up meeting people at the ER to sort of watch the Cowboys game. Just ended up hanging out for a few hours and having a good time. Now it's work at Park Cities. This place sucks, but the commute is short and there are lots of good restaurants around. Not the worst job in the world right now.
