I finally completed and mailed my study abroad application to Aix-en-Provence with the Academic Studies Abroad program. I dig it. I am so excited to hear back from them. I've made my decision. Aix-en-Provence. I called my mom to tell her. She's trying to convince me not to do it. Because of my brother and stuff, I just don't want to think that it's possible that when I leave he could be dying, and when I get back, he could already be gone. I am so anxious for college but I hate packing and unpacking again. I feel like I haven't actually been settled anywhere since I was at UNH for spring semester. I need to decide REALLY soon where I'm going to study abroad. I'll think about it more I suppose. Alright, so I found out through an article in the Baldwinsville newspaper what's going on with my brother. So he needs a bone marrow transplant. If I am a donor, which I am kinda likely, I won't be able to complete this fall semester. Hey kids! I'm back in the States. My trip was great. Lots of bickering with my mom though. Now I'm jetlagged, doing laundry, cleaning up for my friends (Ryan, Mark, and some kid Ryan knows from school named Jackson) who are coming on Thursday, and procrastinating on an English anotative bibliography which I have to write :( for Thursday too!

T minus 10 hours and I'll be on the plane to Iceland! Wooo! I'm so excited!

My throat hurt last night really bad. I went to Health Services this morning and my "tonsels are swollen". I got tested for strep. I'll know tomorrow before the trip. They suggested that I drink lots of juice. Of course I went out and bought a half gallon of orange juice, and I drank all of it. It took me 12 hours. Hahah. My mom ( Read more... )
