Even after waiting for 3 hours at the baggage claim at LGA (there are some scary people at the airport) it feels good to be back in NYC. I don't know why (yes I do....I'm a Bway geek. lol) but I feel better here than anywhere else, and I've pretty much got the hang of anything we might want to do. I still haven't mastered the subway yet. Our hotel is pretty nice...ok...the lobby and the guest lounge are nice (the guest lounge is cool as hell), but the rooms are tiny and the heat/ac doesn't work for SHIT.

So tonight we saw Spamalot with Clay Aiken. First of all, it has to be said, Clay didn't suck. He was actually pretty good. What I don't understand (well, I do, but I don't like it) is why he got WAY more cheers than the rest of the cast when he didn't really do anything until "You Won't Succeed on Bway if you Don't Have Any Jews".  Rick Holmes (Lancelot/French Taunter/Tim the Enchanter, etc) was HILARIOUS and really hot. lol. And Tom (I think that's his name...he played The Historian, and Not Dead Fred, and Prince Herbert and a few others) was absolutely adorable and very sweet.
pinkbutterfliesand I didn't even attempt to get Clay Aiken's autograph or anything. Apparently he only signs if you're right up against the barricade and even though we left before the curtain call was over the stage door was PACKED. Also, when he came out, people went crazy. Some girl jumped up on a plant pot and everything. People were standing on his car. It was just insane. I would have pushed through them all for Chris, Tom, Rick, or a couple others, but Clay...no.  That said, I am SO depressed that we missed Chris Seiber. I've had a crush on him since that friggin Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen show (It Takes Two), and his episode of Pushing Daisies was my absolute favorite, AND he completely rocked Dennis Galahad, and the Black Knight.

Alright, I should get going. I'm SO tired. I only got about a half hour of sleep last night. Tomorrow
pinkbutterfliesand I are seeing Young Frankenstein. I really really really hope we get to meet Roger Bart. LOVE him.

Later!
