things have been unbelievably hectic lately...thus my lack of entries. However there is lots to talk about.

Things at Warwick are unbelievably slow, yet unbelievably busy. Since all the undergraduates and most of the domestic postgraduates have left campus it means that the only people here are me and the Asians. I attended a wine and cheese party in my building the other night and no one drank wine except me and the tutor actually sent me back with 4 bottles that were left over...SCORE! I have an unbelievable amount of work to do but I find it hard to do nothing but independent writing and research every day. Collectively I have 30,000 words to complete, a 10,000 word module essay and my 20,000 word dissertation. I have the essay done (although it's shit) but do not have a single word of my dissertation written...WOOHOOO. It's due on September 7th but I'm hoping to have everything done by Sept 4 (my birthday!) so I can spend the evening celebrating instead of referencing.

I've been playing the part of a real grown up lately, attending professional interviews in my business suit, and house hunting. I have been offered free-lance contractual work at 3 different theatre companies in the Yorkshire area, which is good money, but somewhat unstable. In between projects I'll probably end up supply teaching which pays about 150 GBP (over 300 CDN) a day! I have learned that while I am almost OVER educated in my field, it takes experience to get myself the jobs I want. I have about 8 other interviews to attend in the next month so i'll be very busy. Only time will tell I suppose.

Sean and I have decided to move to the small town of Huddersfield which is sandwiched between Sheffield and Leeds, which is great since I can easily take the train to both cities when I have work. Plus, since huddersfield is a smaller town we can afford a fantastic appartment in the city centre for a small fee. Sean has been to a few showings, but he has one tomorrow that we are really hoping works out. It's a fabulous 2 bedroom, overlooking a canal with balconies in both bedrooms and off the living room. I'm really excited.

phew, so that's it. life is crazy, my dissertation is shit, but I can't wait until a month from now when I will never have to do homework again!! wheeeeeee!!!
