(no subject)
i got my new visa thankfuckinggodalmighty.
Is it not amazing that after paying 2.80/min to speak to an immigration officer who told me my visa would take at least 15-20 days to process, that in actuality it arrived in 3 working days? I think those damn immigration people enjoy giving people ulcers.
On another bright note, after thinking I was completely overeducationed and unemployable, I have 5 meetings with artistic directors at some prestigious theatre companies in Leeds. Let's hope I dazzle them.
On the notsobrightside, I have a 20,000 word disseration which right now has about 25 words typed, as well as a 5000 word module paper where I haven't done most of the required readings. So much for enjoying the sunshine.
Sean liked Canada but returned to old blimey covered with mosquito bites and a red sun burnt glow...his friends will be jealous.
2 more weeks of enjoying dial up internet and country cable television and i'm back to the rain soaked country of my ancestry also. Let's hope someone pays me to do something.
