Hey, look, a Snape icon! Which is actually Obadiah Slope, but as that's Rickman when he's Snape's DH age, it's legal. He's straight up beautiful in that role and I might be getting slightly obsessed with his mouth.
I've been worrying that I'm not writing Snape mean enough. He can be a right bastard. He's canonically a nasty, snide asshole. On the other hand, we get that in canon. I'm writing the off-screen stuff, when he takes off his Death Eater mask and isn't dealing with PTSD Trigger Potter. The only time we really see that in canon is Spinner's End and a couple scenes in The Prince's Tale. That guy in Spinner's End? So different than Hogwarts!Snape. And yet he's still playing a part, that's not even real Snape.
Or maybe I'm just really good at justifying things.
