lately i've been having panic attacks about zombies. it generally happens once i park my car in front of my house. i make sure i have everything i need before leaving the car, and that i have my house key separated from the rest of my keys so that if the door's locked i don't have to fumble for the key. then i make a mad dash into the house. if ( Read more... )

hahaha. although you shouldn't worry about the light thing. according to my reading of the zombie survival guide, zombies primarily rely on their sense of smell to detect prey, and are largely unaware of their surroundings, even including environmental changes that might indicate a human presence.

sometimes i wonder if my fascination with zombies goes a little too far. i console myself with the knowledge that if a zombie infestation really does occur, i probably have a better chance of surviving the initial onslaught, then ultimately profiting from the post-apocalyptic barter economy that will spring up.

it's always good to be anxious. after all, for all you know, you could walk inside the house and your parents could try and eat your brains. i'm not sure that differs so much from most days, but all the same.
