So today we had another Mexico meeting...the last one. Countdown to trip: 8 days
Last thursday was our rain funness, and when we were singing today, someone said it was raining. I was hoping for a fun repeat, but by the time we were done, so was the rain. :-(
In my happy mood, I remembered this song, called "I love life" or something to that effect. Knowing what CD it was on, I whipped out my Princess Diaries soundtrack and I've been listening to it a lot. Fun. Some movies have really good soundtracks. Examples: Princess Diaries, the first Pokemon movie, Rugrats in Paris. See, I got the Pokemon soundtrack for Christmas once. I have no idea why, but some of the songs are awesome! The rugrats one...might have been another gift. It's even better than the others and has one track that's sweet cuz it's in French and I memorized the words...but I lost it a while ago. :-(
The current song is "Stupid Cupid"...I can relate. Tigers game tomorrow. :/
I got my outdoor senior pics taken today! It was so fun, like being a model! The owner of Prestige took some of the shots because he was training an "old photographer wanting to learn new tricks". He had a really good eye for poses and was very nice and complementary and everything! He said he'd probably be there for my indoors too...and that I should bring my dog. :-)
After that, and after we dropped Matt at class (and after he took some shots of me, as if I hadn't modeled enough...it was fun tho) my mom and I went to the DIA. I hate this whole remodelling thing because nothing is where it should be and some things aren't available. However, some of the stuff they have jumbled together is really nice. I loved this beautiful, very realistic painting of a girl in a large dress listening to an oak tree. It was called Whispering Tree or Talking Oak or something cool like that. It was so detailed and beautiful. I love art, especially with my mom. We had some fun.
My diet's going well. I'm not cutting out fatty foods, just eating less and getting active. I've been playing lots of DDR, and I think I'm getting better! Some stuf that was just my speed before is now too easy! It's cool. I feel good about myself....but no one really wants to hear this crap. Just know I'm happy.
I miss Mo and Leslie... :-(
I love my bangs! And I love having some sun on my face. I'm not tan yet, especially not next to Angela or my brother, who tan perfectly. But I'm not pale. :-) This is good.
Bye for now. The fam is now in bed...even the dog left me. Good night and...stuff. Love life. It's worth it!!!
