OK...here's the next part....this part took me so long to write...lol

The silence was driving her mad. She wanted so badly to say something, to make Spencer say something. But she knew that the blonde haired girl would open up to her when she was ready.

“We’re here.” Ashley said, pulling into the driveway of the hall. It was a relief to finally break the silence.

“Why are we here again?”

“It’s Glenn’s birthday.”

“Oh yeah.” Spencer reached her hand over to release her seatbelt. Ashley placed her hand over the smooth skin. Spencer raised her eyes and they locked with Ashley’s. “Ash, I’m fine. Really. I just didn’t sleep well last night.”

“Are you sure?” Spencer nodded and slid her hand, and her seatbelt out of Ashley’s grip. She smiled weakly before exiting the car.

“Now, are you coming to party or not?” Ashley sat for a moment longer, worried. She knew first hand the consequences of mixing emotions and alcohol. She was beginning to think that coming to this party was a bad idea. But, it was for Spencer’s brother, and therefore for Spencer, so she had to be the ‘good little girlfriend’. In public anyway, in the bedroom was a whole different story…

Ashley slipped inside the building and watched Spencer doing her ‘meet’ and ‘greets’. She seemed…happy. But Ashley could see right passed it. She knew something was wrong. And she knew that she needed to watch Spencer. So, it’s what she did, for the whole night.

But nothing happened. Spencer didn’t get drunk. In fact, she didn’t drink at all. She talked and laughed and danced the night away. And Ashley started to believe her. Maybe she was just tired. But there was still something in her stomach that was telling her different.

~~~
Ashley pulled her car to a stop outside of Spencer’s house. The lights weren’t on, so Paula and Arthur were either out, or already in bed. Ashley switched off the headlights and faced Spencer.
“So, it was a fun night.”
“Yeah, it was. You definitely livened up.”
“Yeah, it really woke me up.”
“Enough to…” Ashley moved her hand and lightly brushed it over Spencer’s arm. She ran her fingertips down Spencer’s arm and laced their fingers together.
“I would love to, Ash, I would, but I’m just so tired. And I have that test tomorrow.”
“Right.” Ashley slid her hand from Spencer’s, and faced the front of the car.
“But we will have some time for just us, soon.” Spencer leaned closer to Ashley and kissed her on the cheek. “I promise.” Ashley faced Spencer and smiled. Spencer kissed Ashley’s waiting lips, long and hard. “I’ll see you tomorrow.” She whispered between shorter, softer kisses. Ashley watched her slide across the seat out of the car.
Spencer walked to her front door. She knew that Ashley was watching her. The brunette always waited until Spencer was safe inside her house before driving away. Only Spencer didn’t feel safe inside her house anymore. But she didn’t want Ashley to know. She didn’t keep anything from Ashley, but this was one thing she couldn’t share. Who would believe her? There was no proof.
Once at her door, Spencer turned and smiled at Ashley. She blew her a kiss and slipped inside the house. She didn’t even give herself a second to breath, or her eyes a moment to adjust to the pitch black room. She just took off, running up the stairs until she was standing outside her room. She wasn’t exactly sure why she felt the need to hurry up the stairs. She wasn’t sure how long she stood there, outside her door. But when she heard movement coming from her parent’s room, she ducked inside her own. She slowly closed the door and leant her face against the wood, frightened to turn. This was her bedroom. The one place that she had that was hers and He took that from her. She released the breath that she wasn’t aware she was holding and prepared herself to turn around. Slowly, she turned around, eyes clamped shut. She balled her hand into tight fists as she let her eyes slowly drift open. The flash started insistently. Everything her eyes fell upon brought something flooding back. She closed them again and slowly dropped to her knees. Was it something I did? Did I lead him on without realising it? I thought we were friends. Maybe it was that time I rubbed his arm. Or the time I comforted him. Spencer racked her brain trying to find some logical reason for why this had happened to her. Why He had picked her. The tears started to flow and she cradled her face in her hands.
