My band, with plenty of others, have decorated and signed a Zoo York skateboard deck for Amnesty International that will be auctioned off until the 26th. I think it's really cool what it's all for, and I'm proud that my band has something to do with it.

I am proud of that, but there's also a complete opposite feeling in coming up with an alternate cover for our album. It includes a whole petting zoo of animals (how frightening?) since our first cover is "extremely inappropriate" for K-Mart, Wal-Mart, and other Christian-owned companies to carry. Personally, I believe it's pretty much bullshit that artistic freedom has to be cut back on just to sell some albums when people can just go to an actual record store to buy the fucking thing with the original cover and no problems, but what can be done when your label almost forces you into doing that? Not much, at all.

As far as other band things go, nothing has really changed. The tour is going pretty great, the fans are responding very nicely to the new material. The only downside of that is the fact that there is some creepy man that looks like a strung out old hippie complete with dirty, ratty hair taking pictures of us while we are on stage and claiming that he is my father. It would be nice if my father we there doing such things as that for his daughter's band but I am kind of thankful that this creep is not.
