Week 1 - Thursday

So I spilled tea all over myself the other day-
One of my flatmates got peach oolong tea, but doesn't like flavored tea so I got to have it. I make some, but it looks pretty hot so I try to tip it just enough to get some in the mouth piece so I could test it and I spill it all over myself, which was a really smart move. I think I got it out of the shirt, though. So I clean up the shirt, hang it up and then march over to my tea to just drink some of it and it was SCALDINGly hot. It wrecked my tongue and the my tongue felt weird for the next, like, ten hours. It was baaaad.
I put this silver star wire decoration stuff that I stole from the highschool all night graduation party up on my ceilling yesterday in a spiral pattern with the tape I bought. (I now have tape and a Lancaster hoodie, notebooks, and a pencil now, btw) The thing stayed put all night, but now that I'm awake it keeps trying to pop off. I'm also determined to find a printer so I can print out some stuff to put on my wall... or I'll just sketch stuff. I don't know yet. I actually do have a mini colored pencil kit that was hidden away in my purse so I do have something to color with.
I paid my tuition. That got all fixed.
I've been trying to order a phone online because they said it'd be cheaper. It worked until the checkout part. It does the freeze up on the white screen and not do anything thing again. I know it's not a card problem because I hadn't gotten that far in the ordering so really it's just being stupid.
I was going to draw and read today, but now it's 2... I'll go and do a little reading. I need to get out of this room a little bit. I'll go find a Norse book!
I'm planning on making another blog that was inspired after my first 'New Age Spiritualities' class, where the professor was sure that learning about yourself required being alone in a cave. I wanted it to be about regaining spirituality without removing yourself from society. I thought it'd be fun, and being able to write these things out clarifies things. If you're interested, I'll let you all know when that happens. Yay religious studies! It's not like I have anything better to do. I might as well spend my free time doing something constructive.
I caught the overtime of the football/soccer game last night with Liverpool. No one told me that they were watching it in Hannah's room. I just got up around 9 when I was being paranoid that they went out without me and found them all in Hannah's room. So I was right... Liverpool lost during overtime, but they were being stupid and moving too slow up the field and getting complacent, etc. One of my flat mate's worlds was crushed after that. Apparently it was for a cup.
I've been stealing tacks from bulletin boards, but don't tell anyone.
Oh! The fire alarm went off a minute ago. It's really obnoxious, although not as obnoxious as the ones at MHC. I ran into Hannah in the hallway and found out that it goes off everything Thursday and no one goes outside. Seems to defeat the purpose of a fire alarm if ya ask me. She said that once it was broken and they had to go stay someplace else because they couldn't turn the thing off. That just sounds awful.
I need to figure out the seminar schedule. Apparently it's not every week, but every other week, but it's not the same for all classes or whatnot soooo.... I'll look into it.
The switches are backwards here! Ya have to push the thing down to turn it on!

-Love alls!

p.s. if you're a random person posting on my LJ, please leave me some hint as to who you are so I can think of you and thank you accordingly. :]
