Too much of a not particularly good thing

I am tired of snow. Really tired of snow. And before anyone says "Yeah, but Broce, what did you expect, you moved to the mountains" please bear in mind that December is our DRY month. We get spring snow...we get a storm in October, and the bulk of our snow in March and April. THIS is ridiculous. We may have another two feet by Sunday. Or more. Or less...the weatherfolk are distinctly non commital.

The grocery stores have no food to speak of...some of them got deliveries of *some* things between last week's blizzard and this one. But Friday, the shelves were empty, and Tuesday they were not a whole lot better.

I think I've gotten mail twice in two weeks. Plows? What are those? There are forty in the county. D'ya have *any* idea how big this county is? They have 40 plows to handle almost 1600 miles of road. And those are just the roads they actually bother with. Side roads? Not so much. I havent seen a sander, salter or a plow on my street since I moved here. Don't get me wrong, I love it here. I just would love it better with a little less snow around.

And have I mentioned lately how much asthma sucks? Who knew snow could be a trigger.

I'll just crawl off in the grumpy corner and wheeze and hack awhile. Pay no attention to the forest behind the curtain. ;-)
