Yay! Here I am at my Nana's house. She still had a Christmas desktop on her computer. :P She asked me to change it.
Hmmm....I think to myself. Nana doesn't know who Kristin Chenoweth or Sutton Foster are (though she should, since she's around me so much. She's the type to listen to you and act like she cares what you're talking about, though she really doesn't) so I don't think she'd like to stare at them on her desktop.
Okay, what about a great 'Enchanted' wallpaper? Except she hasn't seen 'Enchanted' (yet, I'll be forcing her to soon).
Pushing Daisies. No, when it premiered I forced her to watch it, but she later told me she had turned the channel because "it seemed like a funeral show." Oh, Nana.
So, I finally decided to quit forcing my obsessions on her and make her a background she'd really like. One problem. The only graphics program she has is 'Paint'. *insert gasp here* 'Paint'?! And to top it off, she only has about 5 fonts to choose from. My initial reaction is to freak out and upload every. font. there. is. for her, but not wanting to intrude on her computer memory, I restrained myself and uploaded only one scripty font...because I just needed to.
So, I searched through the internet and found a lovely picture of a robin, she loves birds. I can tell by the exuberant amount of birdseed she buys to try and attract them, and the insane amount of birdhouses and bird paraphernalia she uses for her interior decorating. Don't get me wrong, I love birds too.
So, I decided to add a little caption to the bird picture to give it a customized touch. And I first think of that song from Disney's Sleeping Beauty. Here's what I came up with:

She's always been one to like things simple, and I think she'd be overwhelmed by some of the graphics I've made. So, she likes it.
Off to watch 'Candide' while she enjoys her football game.
Love you Nana.
