i should be working on my memo for pr, but seeing as i have about three and a half hours until the class, i think i'll be ok.
classes today were boring. three note taking lectures, with one still on the way. i have never been more fully convinced that the greatest education you can get is one based on doing. i am not a fan of the lecture-based education as i get almost nothing out of it. all the notes i write down i do so while in a comatose state due to grogginess or boredom, and therefore aren't absorbed in any beneficial way. the same goes with any assigned reading, which i find pointless anyway due to the fact that most lectures come right from the text. but what do i know, i'm just a mere student. it makes me excited for whatever internship i partake in, however, because i feel like i'll actually learn something by doing it.
i had my picture taken today for my article. it took about .2 seconds and i will most likely look like crap, as i did not have the chance to position myself at the proper angle and in the most flattering light, a la a facebook or myspace picture. but, what can you do?
i haven't worked out all week because i've been too lazy to pick up my ipod from molly, so i feel like i look like a house. obviously (and hopefully), i don't believe this is true, but it's amazing what regular exercise can do to your psyche. it's something my health teacher always talks about, and i'm in definite agreement.
i'm exhusted. after my memo, i'm thinking i'm going to head to the oc for a catnap. then it's off to starbucks, class, and then home. i have to work tomorrow, then cree and i are going up to coldstone to visit chrish boonenberg with molly. if anyone else wants to go, just let me know.
saturday and sunday i have nothing to do, so that will be glorious. i might go see 'same time, next year' at the meadowbrook theatre, but i haven't decided yet.
i want it to be summer in the worse way possible.
ok, to the memo.
