Let's see... What have I been up to besides the obvious...?
It's everyone's birthday apparently. Trisha had her celebration first. We went out to eat, then went to go see Pirates of the Carribean 3. It was a good movie, I guess. Confusing and long, though. Then everyone went out to a bar, but I wasn't exactly sure if I would become a sobbing crazy person if I drank, so I went home alone. We woke up the next day and went to Central Park to meet more of Trisha's friends. We had small talk and catching-up time, and then Trisha announced the beginning of the photo scavenger hunt. It was a great time. Then we returned to the apartment, where I started to have another anxiety attack/emotional breakdown and had to stay in my room while everyone played games. :(
The next morning, Trisha had to go home with her parents. Megan stuck around with me all day because as soon as everyone left I started crying again... awesome... But yeah, Megan was great and we went out to a Mexican restaurant and then returned to watch TV and whatnot. Their friend Corey was still in the city and he ended up coming by after. We ended up staying up and talking until 5am. Very random night!
The next morning we got up late and had lunch at Vesuvio's. (By the way, they have Slush Puppies there!!!!!!) After that Megan and I went our seperate ways for awhile, and then she returned to my apartment to keep me company, amazingly.
Returned to work on Monday... was SO hard to even get up in the morning...
Amy had a roof top party which was fun... but I was still not quite emotionally stable... cried a few times... no good...
Then there was a week of auditions. I had one really good one for A Winter's Tale where it was Shakespeare's play transformed into a rock musical. They said they loved me and I had high hopes, but then they called to say that they needed Equity people. Awesome.
Also went to go see Legally Blonde with Liz. It was an AWESOME show. And I was finally getting better...
Drove out to Jersey the night Trisha got back from CT for rehearsal at John Galvez's house. GREAT story.
Went out with Tom and Leanne one night. Met others along the way. It was a good time.
Went out to see Hairspray with Amanda which I hadn't seen yet. So much fun!
Emma was in NYC to see her friend Kim. I met them for dinner after we all got our of our matinees. Gave her her birthday presents! Good times.
Went home to watch the Tony's by myself. Not so good times.
Had a week of rehearsal for the acting festival.
We had Megan's birthday surprise that week, too. We showed up at her apartment. I got her a cake and Trisha got cupcakes for her. We had a jolly time and then went to a bar where more of Megan's friends were there to surprise her. It was great! And I only broke down crying once! A new record!
Then the actual festival happened. Our play was well received and there was a great turnout. Ended up being a lot of fun and was a great experience! Loved hanging out in the village all day, too.
Amy's surprise party was great! We really did surprise her, too! There was even a musical number involved when Amy suggested that Saro and I join her in a number from "First Wives Club". We ended up having the whole bar as our audience, too. It was amazing.
Lately, I've been working at The School for Film and Television. It's been fun. Kind of want to take some classes there now... but I bet that costs money, right?
Got news that my grandfather was in the hospital because of internal bleeding... Just doesn't stop, does it?
Ryan's talking to me again. We'll see how long his good mood lasts...
My birthday's coming up. Hopefully that will cheer me up.
