so it was the adam hills reference from shari that had me looking at you more. i have loved him for years. spicks and specks was my favourite show forever.

but i'm so curious about the tim ferguson. i just always assume that only aussies even know about the DAA! i have some lj friends (iamshadow and kath_ballantyne) who are massive DAA fans.

several people in my family have ms so i have often thought of reading that book. maybe i should hunt it down.

Oh, it's not just Aussies! DAAS were HUGE in the UK in their prime. Admittedly it's mostly Aussies who still talk about them, but comedy fans of a certain age over here still fondly remember them. I'm too young to be one of those people, and actually discovered them via Adam Hills being on Good News Week, and liking Paul in the clip I saw led to me checking out their stuff. I became very quickly obsessed.
