No one should have 3 computers
And yet, that is how many I currently own. Granted, one of them doesn't exactly work...but I have yet to get rid of it.
I bought a new notebook today. I want a Macbook Pro. But I don't have $2000 for one. So instead I dropped several hundred on an Acer Aspire 5610. I forgot how much I hate PCs and all the hoops I have to jump through to get everything set up. Regardless, I now have a computer that allows me to work from home (which my iBook was not allowing me to do for compatibility reasons).
It's a nice computer though. It will get me through grad school and then I can get the Mac of my dreams...aka whatever is the shiznit in 3 years.
PS It's like a friggin' blizzard right now. I had to go home early today and the office may be closed tomorrow (thus the need to work from home). And this is MINNESOTA. You know it's bad when snow scares us.
I'm sure I'll receive a lashing for not getting a new mac. I can assure you, the desire is there. The funds were not.
