I make myself sick. Today, I just started giggling...just because. I was like, "ugh, girl you are SICK!"
So work was pretty cool today. When I was leaving my house, I turned on to Pecos and I looked in my rearview mirror. I saw this Blue Ford Ranger behind me. I was like, "Is that Mike??" As if to answer my question, the car pulled alongside me and Mike made a funny face. Then he got in front of me and we got to be driving together to work buddies! Later, he was like, "as soon as I saw a red car pulling off of Cottonwood (cottonwood is a street) I knew it was you."
So I had to use the paging thing like 3 or 4 times today. The first time I used it, I totally messed up and I started laughing while I was still on the intercom system...it was bad. All of the cashier people left so I was the only cashier for like, an hour. It was so cool because I knew more about cashiering than the manager on staff knew. I felt smart!
The rest of the time, I had to restock the store. I officially HATE fake flowers. They are soooo hard to stock! Mike and I were working in the plant area. He had to do the banana trees and we both agreed that we would NEVER want a banana tree. He went and found a stuffed monkey and a plastic banana and attatched it to one of the banana trees. Hah, Susan and I got a kick out of that.
At break, Kaylene, Tammy, Mike, and I all got to take our break together! YAY! There was this gigantic moth and Kaylene got scared. Mike caught in his hands (ugh, so gross) and put it in an wmpty coke bottle. YUCKY!!! At least it wasn't flying around anymore though.
Mrs. Oneill came to visit Bob today. We had fun talking about spring break (she's my math teacher and I work with Bob, her husband) and whatnot. Their son is beautiful. His eyes are like sapphire-color and they POP out of his head.
Toward the end of my shift, Mike asked me to help him with the seasonal greens. We both hate them a LOT and there was this HUGE pile of them. We got pretty far but I felt bad leaving him to go home when there was still a TON! Oh, and when we were working in the back, Kaylene's boyfriend came and brought her lunch! He is sooo tall and sooo shy! They were so cute together though!
Alright, I gotta go, g'night!
