Hey, you know that you can see who's watching you, don't you? I mean, I realise that you must have a -lot- of people watching you, but maybe, by a process of elimination, you could work out who is it?
Now obviously you wouldn't want to spam them, because that's against DA rules. But you could ask them politely to stop it. Then -everyone- who's a fan of yours could also ask them, once, politely, to stop it. I mean, that's gotta add up, and it can't count as spam because DA's definition of spam is that it's all from the one person. And as long as everyone was polite it also wouldn't count as abuse. It would just be freakin' annoying.
If you can't be bothered trying to work out who it is you could make 50 million buttons and upload them one at a time and flood out their watch page. I'm sure your fans would understand. :) Heck, I'd help you make 'em.
Bah, I so badly want to pummel this person. I mean, loads of people upload screencaps, and they harm no one. I fail to see why they're picking on you, apart from sheer bred-in-the-bone arseholeness. You'd think they'd have better things to do, like makin art, rather than annoying other people. Guess my theory on the subscribed accounts doesn't hold either. :(
Anyway, we have to be zen about these things. Karma is a wonderful thing and it will happen. Their computer will probably catch a nasty virus and explode or something.

I'm trying to think of a way to to single them out, but nothing's coming to me. I had the idea of making a post that asks everyone to speak up and say that they're not the one doing it and when they do delete their name from my list of Watchers until I only have one left but the person could just lie and I would have no way of knowing.
I know that I have close to 200 people watching, but I can eliminate the first hundred because his whole mess didn't start until I had over 100...hmm....

I wouldn't remove the people who are your fans. Copy the list to a work file - print it even - then you can put a mark next to the genuine fans, and another mark next to the suspect ones.
You could use your positive comments on your pictures to identify your genuine fans. Post some gratuitous slashy images and those of us who enjoy them will be all over the comments like a rash.
There's also at least two people who have posted comments on your main page saying that you shouldn't be posting this stuff, remove them from the list immediately if they're watching you.
anniefelis: the bitch I had the argument with when you were going to leave is called, so if she's on there, get rid of her. Ammotu: is another one.
For the remainder, you could have a quick look at their favourites. If they have screencaps in their favourites then it's not likely to be them.
That will just leave you with the watchers who've never favourites a screen-cap and never posted a positive comment on your page. I would feel reasonably confident about deleting those.
If you want to spend the time over it, but I think it would be work it. Then you can keep an eye out, and if another of your screencaps gets reported and one of those suspect names is on your watchers again, you've probably found the culprit.
It just gets my goat because I'm all for free speech and freedom of information.
But don't get too hung up about it! I think your whole fan base is also following on Live Journal! And I know I'm stil very much enjoying your work.

Sorry, some of that was a little incoherent, the grammar was awful. I'm 12 hours post spinal surgery and stoned on morphine. Probably shouldn't be allowed near the net yet but the hospital has WiFi! :) It'a keeping me entertained, when I'm not asleep.
